Melvin King-Owner
Melvin has dedicated years to teaching students how to ride horses. Our go-to guy for all things horse related, Melvin's knowledge and sense of humor are the backbone of the farm. Melvin is an active member of the American Quarter Horse Association and has participated in several AQHA horse shows along with several years of open horse shows.
Beth-Ann Tate- Head Instructor/ Trainer
Beth-Ann is a graduate from St. Andrews University- earning her bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a specialization in Equine Management. Beth-Ann has over 10 years of experience- in dressage, eventing, and jumpers. Throughout high-school Beth-Ann competed on her personal horse through novice level eventing. Once in college she competed on the IDA dressage team for 3 years moving from lower training through first level divisions and securing several reginal qualifications. While at St. Andrews she also competed on the IHSA western team and secured a 4th place national standing with her team. Beth-Ann is currently in the process of retraining her young mustang, Sage and working on expanding her skills of training young horses. Emma Boyer- Instructor
With more than 20 years experience riding hunter/jumpers. In college Emma spent four years competing in Intercollegiate Horse Showing (IHSA) and qualified for regionals. Emma has also retrained her own off-the-track Thoroughbred, Jazz. We have been lucky enough to have Emma and Jazz in our lesson program.
